Un homme sur le point de prendre son petit déjeuner découvre dans sa tasse de café les reflets d'un monde plein de magie et d'émotion. Le protagoniste et le spectateur sont alors témoins d'un difficile rituel de chasse à l'âge de pierre. Après cette vision, l'homme quitte sa maison pour aller travailler.
A man preparing to have his breakfast discovers a world full of magic and emotions reflected in his cup of coffee. Both the protagonist and the viewer are witness to uneasy hunting ritual in the stone age. After experiencing this vision, the man leaves home to go to work. |

Miguel Díez Lasangre
Né en 1968 à Valladolid (Espagne). De 1979 à 1982, il étudie le dessin à l'Ecole d'arts de Valladolid puis poursuit ses études à l'école des Beaux-Arts de l'Université de Salamanque. Il étudie parallèlement la musique. Il tourne ses premiers films d'animation en super 8 en 1993. Il obtient un diplôme de professeur de guitare à l'Ecole de musique de Palencia en 1995, et enseigne le dessin de 1991 à 1997. Animal (1999) qu'il a écrit, produit et réalisé est son premier court métrage d'animation en 35 mm.
Born in Valladolid (Spain) in 1968. From 1979 to 1982, he studied artistic draw first in Valladolid Art School and then at the Fine Arts School (University of Salamanca). He also studied music at the School of Music in Valladolid. In 1993, he directed his first animated films in Super 8. He received a guitar teaching diploma from the professional Music School in Palencia. He worked as a teacher of Artistic Drawing in Spanish Secondary Education from 1991 to 1997. He wrote, directed and produced Animal in 1999 which is his first professional animated film.
