Saïd, a young thirty-year-old, lives in Casablanca with his stepmother who is separated from his father. She opposes Saïd's relationship with Hayat, one of his colleagues at work. Keeping it a secret from his stepmother, he finally decides to get it together properly with Hayat. However, grown tired of his procrastinating, Hayat has already found herself another man. Saïd later meets Faty, a young Moroccan girl who lives with her parents in France. They fall in love and she tries to help him set himself free from his stepmother and find his father so that he can finally chose his own destiny. |
