Rami, un garçon de douze ans, est obligé de quitter son village au Liban-Sud pour échapper à une violence croissante. A Beyrouth, il travaille dans un café. La guerre civile commence, son copain le musicien est assassiné au café. Yasmine, l'amie chrétienne de Rami quitte le quartier. Quinze ans plus tard, Rami évacue les blessés de la guerre. Son père est enlevé. Rami rejoint la milice pour pouvoir le retrouver. Il rencontre Siham, une femme déterminée à retrouver son mari disparu, elle l'incite à douter de son engagement dans la guerre. Rami, a twelve-year-old boy, is forced to leave his village in Southern-Lebanon in order to escape the growing violence. In Beyrouth, he works in a coffee-shop. Civil war breaks out, his friend, the musicien, is assasinated in the coffee-shop. Yasmine, his Christian friend, leaves the neighbourhood. Fifteen years later, Rami is evacuating the war-wounded. During a cease-fire, his father is kidnapped. Rami joins the militia to find him. He meets Siham, a woman determined to find her missing husband. She incites him to doubt his engagement in the war. |
