Koli, a college student, hides in the country to escape a blood feud, but soon realizes he has to go back to his school and his life in the city at the risk to coming face to face with his assassin involuntarily. He becomes a reluctant mirror of his country's love-hate relationship with tradition.


 
 
Artan Minarolli

Artan Minarolli was born in Tirana in 1958. He graduated from the University of Tirana with a specialization in theatre, he completed his training in the Albafilm studio from 1989 to 1991, and then at the European Film School in Denmark (1993). He started as director for the theatre, before working as assistant director on eight films produced by Albafilm studio. In 1991, he directed his first documentary film, For a Centimeter, which was awarded at the Torino Film Festival. Then in 1993, a short film, 100%. He directed his first feature film in 1995, The Clay Bullet and then The Moonless Night in 2003.
