Annie de Francia is a roadtrip: two sisters and their mother drive through Spain to go to the wedding of some cousin they've never met. For Annie, the mother — a 45 years old woman, the daughter of a Spanish political refugee exiled in France — , it's a way to get in touch with a family whose contact she lost, and to show to her daughters, 15 and 25 years old, their true roots...

Christophe Le Masne

First an actor in cinema, television, theatre and circus, he made his first short film, Les inévitables, in 2000. This was followed by Naturellement (2002), that received awards at numerous festivals in France and abroad. Et alors (2006), his third short, was awarded the Canal+ Prize at the Clermont-Ferrand festival. This enabled him to make his latest film, Annie de Francia. In parallel with his cinema work, he has written a large number of children's books.
