Year 1993, the bleakest time of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A group of actors from Belgrade, utterly unaware of what they are letting themseilves in for, embark on a search for quick earnings on a “tour” around the Serbian Krajina. However, there they are thrust into the heart of war and begin to wander from warfront to warfront, from one army to the next. |

Goran Markovic
Born in Belgrade in 1946. Between 1965 and 1970, he studied film directing in Prague (FAMU) and then started working for television, directing documentaries and about fifty TV movies. Besides making movies, he staged two plays and wrote three more. Since 1979 he's been teaching film directing in Belgrade's Dramatic Arts faculty. His films : Education spéciale (1976), La Classe nationale (1978), Maîtres, maîtres (1980), Variola Vera (1982), La Canasta de Taïwan (1985), Déjà vu, (1987), Point de rencontre (1989), Tito et moi (1992), Tragédie burlesque (1995), Les Gens en folie (1997), Les Résistantes de l'ombre (2000), Serbie année zéro (2001). After The Cordon in 2003, he's again selected in competition with The Tour.
