Eileen Hofer
Born 1976 in Zurich. After studies in Literature and postgraduate studies in the history of the cinema, Eileen Hofer worked for four years as press secretary for the festival Cinéma Tout Ecran, then for the Fiction Department of the TSR. Journalist for a French-language Swiss newspaper from 2005, she currently holds the position of Editor-in-chief for the Swiss magazine EGO. Racines, her first short feature film (2008) has been awarded in Montpellier and in many other festivals. The Mourning of the Merry Stork is her last short.
