| Rezan Yesilbas a terminé sa licence au Département cinéma et télévision de l’université Marmara d’Istanbul en 2008. Il écrit et réalise son premier court métrage The Judgement en 2008, présenté dans plusieurs festivals internationaux. Il a travaillé comme producteur exécutif et premier assistant avec le réalisateur turc Zeki Demirkubuz sur ses longs métrages Envy (2008) et Inside (2012). Il a également été producteur de My Father’s Voice (2011) d’Orhan Eskiköy et Zeynel Dogan. Lauréat d’une bourse du ministère Turc de la Culture et du Tourisme pour le scénario de son long métrage Distances (2010), il a également obtenu une subvention pour son second court métrage, Silent (2012), qui a remporté la Palme d’Or au Festival de Cannes 2012. | Rezan Yesilbas completed his BA in Cinema and TV Department at Istanbul Marmara University in 2008. He wrote and directed his debut short film The Judgement in 2008, which competed in various international film festivals. He worked as the executive producer and the first assistant director with the internationally acknowledged Turkish director Zeki Demirkubuz in his feature films Envy (2008) and Inside (2012). He also worked as the executive producer for My Father’s Voice (2011) by Orhan Eskiköy and Zeynel Dogan. He is the recipient of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism script development grant for his feature film project Distances (2010) and production fund for his second short film Silent (2012) which won the Palme d’Or in Cannes Film Festival 2012. |
