| Mohamed Diab vient d'Ismailia, à l'est du Caire, où il a obtenu un diplôme de commerce. Après avoir travaillé dans le mauvais secteur, il a fait le grand saut et quitté son emploi pour se consacrer à sa passion, l'écriture pour le cinéma. Il a suivi des cours à la New York Film Academy en 2005 et ensuite écrit les films suivants: Real Dreams (2007), The Island (2007), The Replacement (2009) and Congratulations (2009). Les Femmes du bus 678 est le cinquième film qu'il a écrit et son premier film en tant que réalisateur. | Mohamed Diab comes from the city of Ismailia, east of Cairo, where he went to college and earned a degree in commerce. After working in the wrong field, he took a leap of faith and quit his job to explore his passion for cinematic writing. He attended the New York Film Academy in 2005 and then wrote the following films : Real Dreams (2007), The Island (2007), The Replacement (2009), Congratulations (2009). His latest feature is 678, the fifth film he has written, and his directorial debut. |
