| Né à Athènes, Grèce, en 1975. Il a étudié la réalisation à l'École Lykourgou Stavrakou de cinématographie et télévision. Son père a également travaillé dans le cinéma (directeur de la photographie sur de nombreux films grecs classiques) et son choix de carrière en a été fortement influencé. Plus tard, il a étudié les sciences sociales à l'université de Rome I La Sapienza. De retour en Grèce, il a travaillé comme chef monteur et puis comme réalisateur, principalement de spots publicitaires pour la télévision et de films documentaires. Tungsten est son premier long métrage. | Born in Athens, Greece, 1975. He studied directing at the School of Cinematography and Television Lykourgou Stavrakou. His father was also into cinema (Director of Photography for many classic Greek films) and his choice to also get in the industry was greatly influenced by that. Later on, he studied Social Science in Rome at the Universita of Roma I, "La Sapienza". Upon his return to Greece he worked as a film editor and soon thereafter as a director, mainly of TV commercials and documentary films. Tungsten is his first full-length film. |
