| Mila est née à Belgrade (ex-Yougoslavie) en 1979. Elle a étudié les sciences politiques et les médias à la London School of Economics, s'est spécialisée dans le tournage de documentaires à la Femis, à Paris, et avec Tony Schwartz, titulaire d'un Oscar, à New York. Elle a commencé à travailler sur des longs métrages de fiction (Apocalypto de Mel Gibson, Fade to Black d'Oliver Parker, Brothers Bloom de Rian Johnson). Cinema Komunisto, son premier long métrage documentaire, a été présenté pour la première fois à la First Appearance Competition de l'IDFA 2010. Il a été développé au Talent Campus de Berlin et la Summer School de l'IDFA Academy. | Mila was born in Belgrade, (then) Yugoslavia in 1979. She studied politics and media at the LSE in London, and specialised in documentary filmmaking at La Femis in Paris, and with Academy-Award winner Tony Schwartz in New York. She gained experience working on feature films (Apocalypto, by Mel Gibson, Fade to Black, by Oliver Parker, Brothers Bloom, by Rian Johnson). Cinema Komunisto, her first feature doc, premiered in the First Appearance Competition at IDFA 2010. It was developed in the Discovery Campus Masterschool, Berlin Talent Campus, ARCHIDOC and the IDFA Academy Summer School. |
