| Née à Tblissi, Géorgie, en 1978. Elle est diplômée en réalisation en 2001. La même année, elle réalise Bediani - Lucky Village and Children Without a Name, son film de fin d'études qui remporte de nombreux prix. L'année suivante, elle enchaîne avec Spring and Land of Promise. Entre 2005 et 2006, elle prend part au Talent Campus de la Berlinale. En 2007, elle est invitée à la Résidence de la Cinéfondation du festival de Cannes. Après avoir reçu des bourses d'études et participé à de nombreux projets, en 2012, elle produit, écrit et réalise Keep Smiling. Son premier long métrage a été présenté aux Journées des auteurs à Venise. Keep Smiling a remporté l'Antigone d'or en 2012. | Born in Tbilisi, Georgia, 1978.
