| Née en 1976 à Zurich. Après des études en Lettres et un post-grade en histoire du cinéma, Eileen Hofer a travaillé quatre ans comme attachée de presse pour le festival Cinéma Tout Ecran puis au sein du département Fiction de la TSR. Journaliste RP pour un quotidien suisse romand depuis 2005, elle tient aujourd'hui le poste de rédactrice en chef du magazine suisse Ego. Racines, son premier court métrage (2008), a été primé à Montpellier et dans de nombreux festivals. Le Deuil de la cigogne joyeuse est son dernier film court. | Born 1976 in Zurich. After studies in Literature and postgraduate studies in the history of the cinema, Eileen Hofer worked for four years as press secretary for the festival Cinéma Tout Ecran, then for the Fiction Department of the TSR. Journalist for a French-language Swiss newspaper from 2005, she currently holds the position of Editor-in-chief for the Swiss magazine EGO. Racines, her first short feature film (2008) has been awarded in Montpellier and in many other festivals. The Mourning of the Merry Stork is her last short. |
