| Pier Paolo Giarolo est un réalisateur italien né à Comodoro Rivadavia (Argentine) en 1970. Après avoir suivi des études de piano au Conservatoire de Vicenza, il fonde sa propre entreprise de design. En 2000 il suit un master à la Holden School de Turin. En 2001 il voyage seul à travers l'Argentine et réalise son premier long métrage documentaire. En 2002, il ouvre "Il cinema del Carbone" à Mantova, seul cinéma d'art et essais après qu'un multiplexe y ait été ouvert. Un petit spectacle est son second long métrage documentaire. | Pier Paolo Giarolo is an Italian director born in Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina, in 1970. After graduating with a classical piano degree at the Conservatory of Vicenza, he founded his own graphics design company. In 2000 he took a masters degree at the Holden School in Turin. In November 2001 he traveled alone throughout Argentina making his first feature length documentary. In 2002 he opened "Il cinema del Carbone" in Mantova. This is now the only alternative cinema after a multiplex opened there. A Little Performance is his second feature length documentary. |
