| Pablo Berger débute au cinéma en 1988 avec le court métrage Mama, film devenu culte. Il poursuit sa carrière aux États-Unis et décroche le Master de réalisation à l'université de New York. Puis il réalise le court Truth and Beauty (1994) qui lui vaut une nomination aux Emmy des écoles de cinéma. Il a également été professeur à la New York Film Academy et a assuré des cours à Princenton, la Femis. Torremolinos 73, son premier long métrage, a été le film espagnol révélation de l’année 2003-2004. Il a connu un grand succès auprès du public avec plus de 500 000 entrées et fut nominé quatre fois aux Goya. Blancanieves est son deuxième long métrage. | Pablo Berger begins in the cinema with his hit short film Mama. He then pursues his career in the US where he obtains a directing Master at the University of New York. His following short, Truth and Beauty gets him a nomination for the film school Emmy's.
