| Necati Sönmez est né à Antakya, Turquie, en 1967. Il a étudié l'aéronautique à l'Université technique d'Istanbul. Après avoir travaillé comme critique de cinéma, journaliste et photographe pendant quinze ans, il s'est tourné vers le documentaire. Il a récemment produit le documentaire primé "Housekeeper" de Emel Çelebi. Films : Theo's Gaze (2003), Çirali dogala dönüs (2005), To Make an Example of (2007). | Necati Sönmez was born in Antakya, Turkey, in 1967. He studied aeronautical engineering in Istanbul Technical University. After working as a film critic, journalist and photographer for more than fifteen years, he went for documentary.
