| A 16 ans, Theo Papadoulakis travaille comme présentateur et producteur pour des radios locales crétoises. À 19 ans, sa passion pour la radio le mène en Angleterre où il fait des études de radiotélévision. C'est alors qu'il est introduit au cinéma et qu'il se lance dans la réalisation cinématographique. Il poursuit ses études tout en écrivant des scenarii et autres projets de films. Il est actuellement à la tête du bureau de la promotion filmique et de la publicité de la Northern Film School of Leeds Metropolitan University. Ses films : Complicated Game (1996), Blue Adventures (1997), With or Without Richard (2000), Largo (2001), Course (2004), Prix Canal + à Montpellier en 2004 et Samoure (2005). | At the age of 16, Theo Papadoulakis worked in local radio stations in Crete as a Presenter/ Producer. Driven by his passion for radio when he was 19, he moved to the UK for Radio and TV studies. He was introduced to TV Directing and Film studies and since then he has been involved in filmmaking. He has been developing screenplays and film projects. He is currently employed as the head of the Film Promotion and Publicity Office at the Northern Film School of Leeds Metropolitan University. He directed the Complicated Game (1996), Blue Adventures (1997), With or Without Richard (2000), Largo (2001), Course (2004) and Samoure (2005). |
