| David Blanco est architecte et habite Barcelone. Il a reçu plusieurs récompenses nationales et internationales pour ses courts métrages, Borsh, The Shelter, Voyage to the Moon et Heart of Darkness. En 2002 il a été sélectionné pour participer au Script Laboratory de Sundance avec un projet de long métrage. Il a été le co-auteur du court métrage Bamboleho et des longs métrages Condon Express et The Fence de Luis Prieto. Son dernier court métrage, The Prize, fait partie de l'exposition "The D-effect baroque" du CCCB de Barcelone en novembre 2010. La même année, il a terminé La sombra del sol, son premier long métrage en tant que réalisateur et producteur. | David Blanco is an architect and lives in Barcelona. He has received several international and national awards for his short films Borsh, the Shelter, Voyage to the Moon and Heart of Darkness. In 2002 he was selected to participate in the II scrip’s laboratory at Sundance, with the feature project Circular Paths. He has co-written the short film Bamboleho and the features Condon Express and The Fence by Luis Prieto. His short film Machulenco was selected in several festivals. His latest short film The Prize is part of the exhibition "The D-effect baroque", opened at the CCCB of Barcelona in November 2010. That same year he finished The Shadow of the Sun, his first feature film as director and producer. |
