Ruth Diskin a débuté sa carrière en 1989 à la tête du département des relations internationales et du marketing de la Sam Spiegel Film & TV School à Jérusalem. Depuis 2001, elle dirige la Ruth Diskin Films Ltd. où elle œuvre à la diffusion de documentaires et téléfilms dans les festivals. Elle se consacre également aux programmes pédagogiques et aux événements cinématographiques. In Satmar Custody, Say Amen!, Moments, 2005: Jerusalem, First Lesson in Peace et La Maison des enfants sont parmi les films que sa maison de production représente. Elle est également consultante internationale pour plusieurs instituts de cinéma en Israël dont le Israel Film Fund. Elle a produit de nombreux événements cinématographiques visant à faire connaître le cinéma israélien dans le monde entier. Chaque année, une bourse est décernée par la Ruth Diskin Films Ltd. au Meilleur Documentaire du Festival de Cinéma de Jérusalem ainsi qu'au Festival International de Documentaire "DocAviv". Ruth Diskin has begun her film career in 1989 as the Head of International Relations & Marketing Department of the Sam Spiegel Film & TV School - Jerusalem. Since 2001 she runs Ruth Diskin Films Ltd., focusing mainly on marketing and distribution of documentaries and made-for-TV dramas to various international film festivals, film events, TV networks and educational. Amongst the films Ruth Diskin Films represents are: In Satmar Custody, Say Amen!, Moments, 2005: Jerusalem, First Lesson in Peace, The Children’s House and more. In addition, Ruth Diskin serves as the International Marketing Consultant to various film institutes in Israel, amongst: The Israel Film Fund – Israel’s major film fund. Ruth Diskin has produced numerous film events, focusing on Israeli cinema around the world. Moreover, Ruth Diskin Films Ltd. grants, annually, awards to the Best Documentary of the Jerusalem Film Festival as well as to the Best Documentary of the DocAviv International Documentary Film Festival.
