| Né en 1965 à Montereau (77), il passe son enfance entre le plateau de Millevaches en Corrèze et l'Afrique. Après un brevet de technicien agricole général, il s'initie à l'ornithologie avec des élèves du BTS protection de la nature. Il fait ensuite son service militaire au sein de la Ligue pour la protection des oiseaux. Sans aucune expérience cinématographique, il tourne des images en 16 mm avant de monter sa propre société de production en 1991. Stéphane Kowaczyk a aujourd'hui à son actif une cinquantaine de films (entreprise, documentaires, reportages et magazines). | Born in Montereau in 1965, he spends his childhood in Corrèze and in Africa. He has a diploma in agricultural studies and learns ornithology thanks to students studying the protection of Nature. He does his military service among the Ligue of protection of birds. Though he has no cinematographic training, he shoots in 16 mm before creating his own production company in 1991. Stéphane Kowaczyk is the author of over 50 films (company, documentary, television reports and magazines). |
