| Née en 1958, Valérie Cadet a pratiqué divers métiers avant d'intégrer le quotidien Libération en 1984, puis la rédaction du journal Le Monde en 1988. Elle a notamment travaillé pour « Le Monde des Livres », le mensuel « Le Monde des Débats », le supplément « Temps Libre », et fait partie de l'équipe du supplément « Radio-Télévision » depuis 1995. Parallèlement à divers travaux d'édition, elle a notamment collaboré aux biographies de Marguerite Yourcenar et de Carson McCullers écrites par Josyane Savigneau, et a coréalisé l'ouvrage Bataille, Sollers, Artaud, une trilogie d'André S. Labarthe (éd. Filigranes, 2002). | Born in 1958, Valérie Cadet did various jobs before joining the daily newspaper Libération in 1984, and then the editorial staff of Le Monde in 1988.
