| Né en 1953 à Vichy. Peintre et sculpteur, il a suivi des cours à l'école des Beaux arts de Clermont Ferrand. Co-scénariste de Reste et Eau douce de Marie Vermillard, il joue dans le film de Cédric Klapish, Chacun cherche son chat. La Pomme, la figue et l'amande (1999) est son troisième court métrage après Les Pinces à linge (1997) et Le Songe de Constantin (1998). Il a depuis réalisé un moyen métrage intitulé La Gardienne du B (2000) et une série de courts métrages intitulés Jouir, Tuer, Bouger, Rêver (2001). Il passe au long en 2003 avec La Fin du règne animal. |
Born in Vichy in 1953. A painter and a sculptor, he studied at Clermont Ferrand's School of Fine Art. Co-writer of Marie Vermillard's Reste and Eau Douce, he acted in Cédric Klapish's film Chacun cherche son chat. La pomme, la figue et l'amande (1999) is his third short film after Les Pinces à Linge (1997) and Le Songe de Constantin (1998). Since then he has also made a medium length film called La Gardienne du B (2000) and the short films Jouir, Tuer, Bouger, Rêver (2001). In 2003, he directed his first long feature La Fin du règne animal. |
