| Né à Malaga en 1967. Il étudie le théâtre au Centro Andaluz de Teatro, et puis la mise en scène (film et theatre) au Royal Court Theatre à Londres et à l'académie du film de New York. Il a fondé les compagnies de théâtreTriki-Trake et La Permanente, avec lesquelles il travaille comme directeur et comédien. Au cinéma, il commence avec les courts Los Díaz Felices et Bailongas (2000), qui obtiennent plus de quarante prix dans les festivals nationaux et internationaux. Carlos contra el mundo (2002) est son premier long métrage. | Born in 1967 in Malaga.
