Biography |
| Né à Sofia en 1966, diplômé en théorie psychanalytique, Stefan Komandarev suit ensuite des études de réalisation cinéma et télévision. Depuis 1990 il a réalisé plusieurs vidéoclips musicaux et courts métrages dont Le Ballon, présenté à Montpellier en 1997. Il réalise aussi un long métrage L'Auberge des chiens (2000) d'après une pièce de Lurii Datchev, et plusieurs documentaires : The Way of Harmony (2001), Bread Over the Fence (2002). En projet, un long métrage : The World is Big and Salvation Lurks Around the Corner. | Born in Sofia in 1966, Stefan Komandarev graduated in psychanalytical theory before persuing cinema and television directing. Since 1990 he has directed several video clips and short films such as The Balloon, presented in Montpellier in 1997. He also directed a feature film, Dog's Home (2000), based on a play by Lurii Datchev and several documentaries : The Way of Harmony (2001), Bread Over the Fence (2002). In project, a feature film : The World is Big and Salvation Lurks Around the Corner. |
