| Réalisateur, scénariste et producteur né à Barcelone en 1956. Après plusieurs films courts dont La cena (1975) et Paisaje sin árbol (1978), il signe les longs métrages suivants : Ombres sur le jardin (1988), Manila (1991), El hundimiento del Titanic (1992), Susanna (1995) et Tu reviendras (2002) sélectionné en compétition au festival de Montpellier en 2003. En 2006, il réalise Les Vies de Célia, également présenté à Montpellier. En 2012, Dictado est présenté en compétition au festival de Berlin. | Director, screenwriter and producer born in Barcelona in 1956. After several short films among which La cena (1975) and Paisaje sin árbol (1978), he signs six feature films : Shadow on the Garden (1988), Manila (1991), El hundimiento del Titanic (1992), Susanna (1995), You Will Come Back (2002) selected in competition in 2003 in Montpellier, and Celia's Lives (2006). From 2000 to 2003, he was first vice-president of Arts and Cinematographic Sciences Academy of Spain. |
