| Né à Tirana en 1963. Diplômé de l'Académie des Beaux-arts de Tirana en 1986 (option théâtre). Il travaille comme assistant-réalisateur sur de nombreux films de 1986 à 1990. Auteur de scénarios de films d'animation, il a également publié deux romans pour enfants The Boat of the Poor et Up to 12 o'clock. Il réalise son premier film court en 1991: Black and White, suivi par The Last Sunday (1992), A Day from a Life (1994), Last Love (1995) et Funeral Business (1999), Grand Prix du court métrage au Festival de Montpelllier la même année. Après un documentaire, Tirana 96 (1996), il passe au long métrage en 2001 avec Slogans, puis Dear Enemy en 2004. Il prépare actuellement un nouveau long métrage Est-Ouest-Est. | Born in Tirana in 1963. Graduates from the Art Academy of Tirana in 1986 (theatre).
