Biography |
| Né à Madrid en 1964. Il étudie les sciences de l'information à l'université de Madrid. En 1986, il crée avec trois associés la maison de production Línea Films, spécialisée en spots et vidéo-clips publicitaires puis en 1992, il fonde avec Luis Manso, Películas Pendleton pour développer des projets au cinéma. Il réalise Le Rythme dans la peau (1993) qui remporte le Prix du court métrage de la ville de Montpellier et le Prix du public.Après Le Secret de la trompette (1995), son second court métrage, Prix du public à Montpellier, il passe au long métrage avec Le Miracle de P. Tinto (1998). Puis revient au court avec La Surprise (2001). Mortadelo et Filemón (2003) est son deuxième long métrage. En 2004, il réalise le court Binta et la grande idée, extrait du film En el mundo a cada rato. | Born in Madrid in 1964. He studied Information Technology at the University of Madrid. In 1992, to materialise various film projects, he merges with Luis Manso, Peliculas Pendleton. He directs Rhythm in the Skin (1993), awarded at the Festival of Montpellier (City of Montpellier Award for Short films and the Audience Award). After The secret of the Trumpet (1995), his second short film, he moved on to feature full-length films in 1998 with Le Miracle de P. Tinto. Mortadelo et Filemón (2003) is his second feature. |
