| Né à Athènes en 1955. Après des études de mathématiques et de cinéma à l'école Stavrakou d'Athènes, il travaille comme assistant de nombreux réalisateurs grecs, notamment Pantelis Voulgaris qu'il considère comme son maître. Il dirige deux courts métrages : The Cuff Links (1980) et Touch Typing (1983). En 1982, il réalise une série de documentaires pour la première chaîne de télévision grecque. Après Lefteris en 1993 et The Man in Grey en 1997, Les Yeux de la nuit est son troisième long métrage. | Born in Athens in 1955. After studying mathematics and then cinema at the Stavrakou Film School, he works as an assistant director with many Greek filmmakers, most notably with Pantelis Voulgaris, whom he considers as his teacher. He directed two short films : The Cuff Links (1980) and Touch Typing (1983). In 1982, he directed documentaries for the first greek television channel. After Lefteris in 1993 and The Man in Grey in 1997, Eyes of Night is his third full-length feature film. |
