| Né à Macerata en 1965. Après avoir suivi les cours de scénario de Tonino Guerra, il se perfectionne auprès de Nikita Mikhalkov puis travaille comme assistant réalisateur de Sergio Corbucci et des frères Taviani. En 1991 il fonde la société de production Notorius. Il réalise son premier film en 1992, le documentaire Roma nascosta : nascito di un evento, puis de nombreux vidéo-clips. En 1996, son court métrage Baby Bounty Killer gagne le Chaplin d'argent du meilleur court métrage du GioFest. Il dirige ensuite Silenzi e castelli (2002) et Radio West (fm.97), son premier long métrage de fiction. Ont suivi de nombreux courts, un documentaires et un long métrage : La fisarmonica, 2004 ; Play your Life, 2005 ; Chi Nasce Tondo, 2007, long métrage ; Lucciole, 2008, documentaire ; Il Giorno del Bucato, 2009 ; Finis Terrae, 2010. Babylone Fast Food est son dernier film court. | Born in Macerata in 1965.
