| Né à Alep, en Syrie, en 1955. A étudié le cinéma à la School of Visual Arts de New York. A poursuivi ses études de cinéma (réalisation et production) à l'Université de Californie à Los Angeles et y a reçu son diplôme. A réalisé de nombreux films. Est également producteur exécutif et directeur des achats de programmes à la télévision internationale Future Television. Son court métrage Le Chemin des abricots (2001) a été présenté dans plus de trente festivals dans le monde entier et a remporté de nombreux prix. | Born in Aleppo, Syria 1955. Studied Cinema at School of Visual Arts in NYC. Continued cinema studies (directing and producing) at UCLA and graduated with MFA in Cinema. Has many films, for the past several years. Besides making films, he is also an executive producer and director of program acquisitions at international Future Television. His short film Roads Full of Apricots (2001) has been shown in more than 30 film festivals arround the world and won many top awards. |
