| Diplômée en Arts Plastiques en 1983. Après des études à l'Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Montpellier puis de Nîmes, Rachida Krim réalise un premier court métrage en 1992, El Fatha, diffusé sur France 2. Après son premier long métrage, Sous les pieds des femmes (1997), elle revient au court et co-réalise avec Hamid Tassili La Femme dévoilée (1998) qui remporte le Prix du public et le Prix Canal + au festival de Montpellier. En 2002, elle signe une série de courts métrages, Houria, dans le cadre de la prévention contre le sida. Puis elle écrit et réalise Permis d'aimer, un téléfilm pour France 2. Elle écrit avec Irène Jouannet le scénario pour le cinéma de Presque tout surmon père. | Gained a degree in Plastic Arts in 1983. After her studies at the Art School in Montpellier and then in Nîmes, she made her first short film in 1992; this was called El Fatha and was shown by the television channel France 2. After making her first feature film, Sous les pieds des femmes (1997), she returned to shorts and co-directed La Femme dévoilée (1998) with Hamid Tassili, which won the Prix du public and the Prix Canal + at the Montpellier Festival. In 2002, she made Houria, a series of short films within the framework of the prevention of AIDS. She then wrote and directed Permis d'aimer, a television film for France 2. She wrote the scenario for Presque tout sur mon père jointly with Irène Jouannet. |
