| Après un cursus universitaire classique (doctorat en archéologie - Paris X) et un début de carrière comme archéologue, elle intègre le ministère grec de la culture en 1984 et le cabinet de Mélina Mercouri, dans le cadre de la préparation d’« Athènes Capitale culturelle ». En 1986, elle entre au Centre du cinéma grec et se spécialise dans la traduction en français des scénarios et dialogues des films grecs (entre autres les films de Theo Angelopoulos depuis L’Apiculteur jusqu’à son dernier opus, resté malheureusement inachevé, L’Autre mer). De 1999 à 2012, elle dirige le Service court métrage du Centre du cinéma grec, assurant la promotion et la distribution des films courts sur les festivals internationaux et les chaînes de télévision. Ayant quitté le Centre du cinéma grec en 2012, elle est devenue consultante, apportant son expertise dans l’analyse des scénarios de court métrage. | After a doctorate in archaeology at Paris X University and the beginnings of a career as an archaeologist, she joined the Greek Ministry of Culture in 1984 and Melina Mercouri's office within the framework of the preparation of 'Athens, Cultural Capital'. In 1986, she joined the Greek Film Center and specialised in translating screenplays and dialogues of Greek films into French (including among others the films of Theo Angelopoulos from 'The Beekeeper' to his last work, 'The Other Sea'—unfinished, sadly). She managed the short film section at the Greek Film Center from 1999 to 2012, handling the promotion and distribution of short films at international festivals and for television channels. She left the Greek Film Center in 2012 and is now a consultant, providing her expertise in the analysis of screenplays for short films. |
