| Née en 1956 à Paris. Diplômée de l'Ensad en 1980 (spécialisation gravure). Parallèlement à son activité de peintre, elle travaille comme maquettiste et illustratrice pour la presse. Après des expositions sur le thème du hammam en 1989, elle publie un recueil de sérigraphies accompagné d'un texte de R. Lapoujade. En 1986, elle réalise Ça bouge dans ma tête. Elle signe en 1991 son premier film d'animation, Hammam, puis un pilote inspiré des Mille et une nuits (1994). En 1995 elle termine son second film, Schéhérazade, puis réalise en 1996 L'Histoire d'un prince devenu borgne et mendiant. Ses derniers films : Au premier dimanche d'août (2000) nominé aux Césars du meilleur court métrage, Les Oiseaux blancs, les oiseaux noirs (2002) et Conte de quartier (2006) sélectionné au Festival de Cannes. | Born in 1956 in Paris. Graduated from ENSAD in 1980 (specialising in engraving). In parallel with painting, she worked as a press layout artist and illustrator. After exhibitions on the subject of the hamman in 1989, she published a series of silk screen prints accompanied by a text by R. Lapoujade. In 1986, she made Ça bouge dans ma tête, aimed at promoting radio. She made her first animated film, Hammam, in 1991 and then a pilot film inspired by The Thousand and One Nights (1994). She finished her second film, Schéhérazade, in 1995 and then, in 1996, made L'Histoire d'un prince devenu borgne et mendiant, broadcast by Arte during a theme evening on The Thousand and One Nights. Her most recent films are Au premier dimanche d'août (2000), nominated for the 'César' for the best short film, and Les Oiseaux blancs et les oiseaux noirs (2002). |
