| Née en 1960 à Paris d'un père tunisien et d'une mère française. Elle passe son enfance à Tunis puis partage sa vie d'une rive à l'autre de la méditerrannée. En 1990 elle s'installe dans un petit village tunisien de la baie de Carthage. Elle commence sa carrière cinématographique comme assistante à la réalisation en 1982. Elle travaille ensuite sur treize longs métrages et écrit également plusieurs scénarios dont celui de son premier court métrage, Pour le plaisir (1990). Ses autres films : Fifty, fifty mon amour (1992) ; Tanitez-moi (1993), Tant qu'il y aura de la peloche (1998), Bedwin Hacker (2002), Ouled Lénine (2008), Laïcité, Inch'Allah! (2011). | Born in Paris in 1960 from a Tunisian father and a French mother. She spends her childhood in Tunis before sharing her time on both sides of the Mediterranean. In 1990, she moves to a small village overlooking the Bay of Carthage. She begins her cinematographic career as assistant director, in 1982. She then works on 13 feature films. She also writes several scenarios including that of her first short film, Pour le plaisir (1990). Her other films : Fifty,fifty mon amour (1992) ; Tanitez-moi (1993), Tant qu'il y aura de la peloche (1998), Bedwin Hacker (2002), Ouled Lenine (2008), Laïcité, Inch'Allah! (2011). |
